The following claim rules apply to the 600 3/4 Restricted, 5/8 Restricted & JR Sprint classes only.
All claims must be made no later than 60 minutes at the conclusion of that classs feature race.
All claims must be in writing, and on the Delta Speedway Racing claims form.
All claims must be filed with the Head Referee or class Tech person.
Only the driver signed in for that evenings events may file a motor claim.
Parents of minors may file a claim on behalf of their minor child, provided they are signed in as a crewmember.
All claim monies must be paid in full and in cash when the claim form is filed with the Head Referee or class Tech person.
Any person finishing 5th place or higher, in that evenings Main Event, may claim any motor that finished 5th or higher in that evenings Main Event. Jr Sprint see class rules.
If two Owner/Drivers are claiming the same motor, the higher finishing car will be awarded the claim rights.
Claim Amount: Non Wing 600, 3/4 and 5/8 Restricted classes will be $2000.00
Claim Amount: Jr Sprint refer to the class rules.
The claim fee must be paid to Head Referee, or class Tech Person, in CASH when claim form is submitted.
600 Motor is claimed less; Carburetors, Airbox, electrics/ignition, exhaust, motor plates, case saver, water temp gauge adaptors, oil temp gauge adaptors, shifter bracket, and any mud reflector attached to the motor.
After claim is made, the Head Referee holds the claim money until the motor has passed Tech Inspection. If the motor does not pass Tech Inspection, the motor will be disqualified, and will be ineligible to be claimed. Any motor that does not pass tech, driver is automatically suspended for two race nights, points for the evening forfeited, and subject to the appropriate fines and expulsions. Any and all motor parts deemed illegal are subject to confiscation by Delta Speedway.
All decisions made by the Head Referee or the Tech Official is final and binding.
An Owner/Driver may claim up to a maximum of three motors per race season.
