All protests must be made no later than 30 minutes at the conclusion of the nights racing events.
All protest must be in writing, and on the Delta Speedway Racing protest form.
All protest must be filed with the Head Referee.
Only the driver signed in for that evenings events may file a protest.
Parents of minors may file a protest on behalf of their minor child, provided they are signed in as a crewmember.
All protest monies must be paid in full and in cash when the protest form is filed with the Head Referee.
All decisions made by the Head Referee or the Tech Official is final and binding.
Any fines associated with protests are due and payable prior to a person competing in another Delta Speedway event.
To protest a motor violation, in the 250cc, or JR Sprint class, the cost is $150.00. Seventy-Five dollars goes to the official who tears down and inspects the motor. Seventy-five dollars goes to the winner of the protest.
If the motor is found to be legal, the seventy-five dollars goes to the cost of putting the motor back together and for parts needed. If the motor is found to be illegal, then seventy-five dollars is returned to the person making the protest. The illegal motor violation will be handled in accordance with Delta Speedway rules regarding illegal motors.
To protest a motor violation, in the Multi Wing, Multi Non Wing, or 3/4 restrictor classes, the cost is $250.00. $100.00 dollars goes to the official who tears down and inspects the motor. $150.00 goes to the winner of the protest.
If the motor is found to be legal, the $150.00 goes to the cost of putting the motor back together and for parts needed. If the motor is found to be illegal, then $150.00 is returned to the person making the protest. The illegal motor violation will be handled in accordance with Delta Speedway rules regarding illegal motors.
